On March 18, 2002, the Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On that same day, Dee Dee Ramone's newest single, "Do The Bikini Dance", was released, featuring the title track on the A side, and a cover of the Isley Brothers' "Twist & Shout" on the B side. This recording featured future ZEEROK drummer Tony Whiting on drums, and was one of the last recordings by Dee Dee before his untimely death on June 5, 2002.
